Hello sports fans and welcome back to the 2003 Turkey Day Bash exhibition match. Right now, eleven of the best monster trucks in the world today are preparing for the next round of this incredible tournament.

The first truck to face the ramp in the second round is the up and coming SoBe Suzuki. Being one of the few female trucks on the circuit, she stands out from her male counterparts. This energy drink sponsored truck pulls up to the line, ready to continue her winning streak that began in the seventy-nine-truck November Nationals event. A massive win for a new truck. The lights go green and SoBe roars to life. The truck flies down the alley. She is fine until she starts to curve in the landing zone and rocks up onto her side. She rolls completely over and comes out on her wheels. Despite finishing upright, the roll has eliminated her from competition. The big contender, SoBe Suzuki, has been eliminated. It is now a battle for the boys. However, this is not the end for SoBe. Expect her to have a large showing in the December series coming up soon. She’ll finish 11th tonight.

Next up, Wolverine New Style. The silvery truck lines up, and launches through the air. He comes down a bit too hard on his nose, and his trademark claws catch the ground. The front end catches and the momentum of the back end keeps it moving – right of the front. The truck lands on its roof. Apparently, SoBe’s elimination has taken the wind out of the sails of this truck too. Wolverine New Style will finish 10th.

Next up, is the legendary Avenger. The green flamed truck roars over the lamp and bounces a few times on its front wheels. In a story similar to Wolverine’s, the back end of the truck is moving faster than the front and it rocks up over onto its roof. The truck bounces a few more times and comes out on its wheels again. However, the damage is down and Avenger continues the string of eliminations, finishing in 9th.

Hoping to have the first good run of the round, Prowler takes the stage. Should he succeed, his run will make the eliminations of the other three trucks official. Should no truck in this round make a successful run, all would be allowed to return. But Prowler has no intention of letting that happen. The orange cat roars and sails through the air. Despite his better interests, the front end of the truck comes down first, and because of the rounded edge, easily lets the truck roll over. Prowler is eliminated in 8th here tonight. Where will this string of elimination stop?

Gun Slinger. The red truck takes the line. If anyone will stop this, and officially eliminate the other trucks, it will be him. The lights go green, and Gun Slinger sails over the ramp. He comes down with as graceful a landing as ever. Prowler, Avenger, Wolverine New Style, and SoBe Suzuki are now officially eliminated and will not return to competition. Gun Slinger returns to the pit area and shuts off his engine. He is the first truck to advance into round three.

Hoping to join him there is Bulldozer. The horned truck takes the line. The lights click down to green and his engine screams. The several thousand pound truck roars through the air and comes down with a good landing. However, he curves a few seconds into his run, and rocks over onto his side. The truck ends his run there. Another victim to round two. The ender of several legendary trucks. Bulldozer will rank 7th.

Hoping to avenge his brother, is El Toro Loco. The truck blasts over the ramp, but as was the case with several trucks, comes down with his front end first. He flips over and is eliminated. Thus far, round two has proven to be disastrous for all but one team. El Toro Loco will finish in 6th, leaving only Gun Slinger thus far, going to round three.

King Krunch thunders out of the pit area and blasts over the ramp. He comes back down into a bouncy run, but manages to keep the truck on all four wheels. Finally, someone has risen to challenge Gun Slinger in the third round. But they may not be alone, as there are still two of the best trucks left to turn. The next truck up to run is no pushover…

Blacksmith pulls out of the pit area and up to the ramp. The pressure is on him to succeed. In a finals match between King Krunch and Gun Slinger, it may not last very long. Also, Blacksmith and Gun Slinger have a rivalry that has not seen a direct finals match up for several months. The lights go green. The truck flies. With the biggest air of the night, Blacksmith comes back to the ground, and almost goes over backward. By luck of his tailgate, he flips back onto his wheels and finishes a good run. Blacksmith will go into round three with King Krunch and Gun Slinger.

Not to be upstaged, Blue Thunder takes to the ramp with every aspiration of getting more air than Blacksmith. And does he ever. He soars through the air, and comes back down to earth. He bounces back up into the air and comes down on two wheels. However, he is able to save himself and finishes the run on all four wheels. Blue Thunder, Blacksmith, King Krunch, and Gun Slinger will all advance into round three. The long and difficult round two is finally over, and the real showdown is at hand.
